Bryant O. Hobson, 78, died Sunday morning in Martin Memorial Hospital at Stuart, Fla., after an illness of six months. He was a member of the First Christian Church here and had been employed by R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co., O. K. Galloway & Son and the Ladoga Federal Savings and Loan Association. A native of Mace, he was born Oct. 24, 1889, to Elmore and Rela (Edwards) Hobson. He was married July 24, 1910, to Ruth Terry at Ladoga. Surviving are the widow; four daughters. Mrs. Mervin Carman of Rt. 4, Mrs. Arva Buck of Rt. 2, Mrs. Malcom Harris of Stuart, Fla., and Miss Mary Edith Hobson of Fortville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt and Son Funeral home here. Burial will be in Mace K of P Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Wednesday. – jlr
